About Grace

My passion for human-centered, creative work has drawn me to the User Experience Research field. Ultimately, the integration of empathy and emotion into the products and processes we use everyday leads to greater user engagement and better experiences.

I believe in the value of teamwork, and feel strongly that the process of peer feedback and collaboration acts as a cornerstone to further the research process. I seek to bring my enthusiasm, creative problem-solving skills and breadth of qualitative and quantitative skills to any team I work with.

Outside of my professional life, I maintain a keen passion and interest for learning and exploration— two of the key motivators for me to enter the user experience research field. You can often find me traveling, knitting (ask me about my current project!), reading, cooking or baking, and spending time with family and friends.

My diverse professional and academic experience– including skills such as complex data visualization, research and data analysis, as well as advanced writing and communication skills– provide me with a unique perspective on how to approach the challenges and needs of the world today. I am highly detailed and organized with advanced project management capabilities. With a proven ability to leverage sophisticated problem-solving skills and enthusiasm for collaborative solutions, these traits act as assets when faced with unexpected challenges in the business world. As a top-tier communicator and writer on mission critical projects from manuals to white papers, I have created immense value both internally and for client objectives. I seek a user experience research role that allows me to interact first-hand with participants, engage in creative, complex problem-solving, and utilize my written and oral communication skills in a storytelling capacity.
